Winter and the holidays are here!  Hardaway Veterinary Doctors and staff would like to wish you and your pets a happy and safe holiday season!

Many people are aware of the typical dangers around the holidays.  Pets eating bones, chocolates, chewing on tinsel and electrical cords, breaking ornaments, etc.  How are your pets when there are a lot of guests around?  Will they try to jump on them or be stressed enough they may tend to snap or bite?  Guests may leave food or drinks within reach of your pets or feed them without your knowledge.  Many people are celebrating the New Year with fireworks.  If your pet is scared of the loud noises, they may run away trying to escape the noises and be lost or injured.  Please keep a close eye on your pets during the holidays and see how things affect them.  Give them extra love, attention and exercise during this time.  Remember, we are only a phone call away if you have any concerns!

Happy Holidays!
